Beijing Language and Culture University—Beijing Wuzi University
“1+3” and “2+3” Cooperate programs
“1+3” and “2+3” cooperation programs are operated by both Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) and Beijing Wuzi University (BWU). Students are able to join this program every fall semester.
After admission reviewed by BLCU, students who do not have HSK 3 will become college students of BLCU and join “2+3” program; students who have HSK 3 or above will become pre-undergraduate students of BLCU and join “1+3” program.
Program Information：
（1）“2+3”Program
For the first two years, college students will study associate courses in BLCU. If they finish all required courses and meet graduation requirement, they will award associate degree certificate offered by BLCU which is authorized by Ministry of Education of P.R. China.

（2）“1+3”Program
For the first year, pre-undergraduate students will study preparatory courses in BLCU. If they finish all required courses and meet graduation requirement, they will award pre-undergraduate certificate offered by BLCU.

Students who have college certificate or pre-undergraduate certificate are able to choose majors from BWU and join the second year of undergraduate program without any examinations. Your credits earned in BLCU can be transferred to BUAA. After you finish all the required courses in BWU and meet graduation requirement of BWU, you can award bachelor degree and graduation certificate from BWU which is authorized by Ministry of Education of P.R. China.
If students want to drop this program for personal reasons, they need to submit a written application to BLCU before the middle of June and they do not need to enroll in BWU.
Qualifications
1. Age between 18-35 in good health and with good personal characters
2. Ability to obey university’s regulations and Chinese policies and laws
Advantage
1. Students who have pre-undergraduate certificate of BLCU are able to choose majors from BUAA and join the second year of undergraduate program without any examinations.
2. BUAA offers full scholarship and partial scholarship for excellent students.
Application Materials
1. Academic diploma: a photocopy of the applicant’s latest academic diploma or certificate of university education;
2. Academic record: the original transcript of academic record (copies are not acceptable);
3. Reference letter from the applicant's former teacher；
4. A photocopy of the applicant’s passport;
5. A photocopy of the ID of the applicant’s emergency contact (the person you specified on the second page of the current form);
6. A photocopy of HSK 3 certificate(waived by “2+3” program students);
7. A photocopy of the application fee payment receipt (for on-line payment or T/T transfer).
