어언대는 개교 이래 60년간 184여 개 국가와 지역에서 온, 약 22만여 명에 이르는 외국인 유학생을 중국어와 중국문화에 능통한인재로 길러냈으며 국가를 위해 7만여 명의 중국학생을 배출했다.전 세계에 퍼져 있는 어언대 졸업생 중에는 정부총리나 의회의장,기타 정부 관원도 있고 주중대사,공사,참사관 등 고급외교관도 있으며,저명한 학자나 상계 지도자가 된 사람도 있다.졸업생들 가운데 상당수는 중국어 국제 교육 사업에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며 중국과외 국의문 화교 육에서우 의의사 절로서,중국의 세계 진출을 촉진하고 세계가 중국을 이해하는 데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.
