1. Objective

The purpose of this program is to cultivate highly qualified and innovative talents with certain innovative abilities who can engage in scientific research work or independently undertake specialized technical work in the fields of computer science theory, computer software, and computer application technology, and who have the ability to conduct research and academic communication in foreign languages.


2. Duration

The basic duration of the academic master's degree in computer science and technology is 3 years, and the maximum duration of study is not more than 6 years (including suspension and retention).


3. Degree Credit Requirements

The courses of academic master of computer science and technology are divided into degree courses and non-degree courses. The degree courses include compulsory public courses, professional courses and professional elective courses, which are courses reflecting the most important basic theories and expertise of the discipline and must be passed to obtain the master's degree; the non-degree courses include compulsory courses and public elective courses. The compulsory links are set up to ensure that the master candidates have the necessary skills, while the public elective courses are set up to broaden the students' knowledge and understand the latest technology and the latest development of the field.

They should have a certain scientific way of thinking and have strong practical ability. 2. Basic qualities and abilities required to obtain a master's degree in this discipline

(1) Academic quality and academic ethics

They should have a strong interest in their own research direction and be able to discover the deep-seated scientific laws through the surface phenomena. Be able to undertake basic theoretical and practical research in the field of computer science and technology, and have the basic ability of logical thinking. Strictly abide by academic norms, seek truth from facts, have a rigorous academic style, and avoid all forms of academic misconduct. Abide by all national laws and regulations and ethical norms. Respect intellectual property rights, and plagiarism of others' research results in any way is strictly prohibited.

They should be aware of the research results of relevant scholars in this research field and have a basic grasp of the scientific theories and research methods for obtaining such results. Be able to acquire professional knowledge and research methods effectively through study and training in courses, practice and projects. Strong academic discernment ability, mainly in the discrimination of research problems, research process and existing results.

(3) Scientific research ability and practical ability

Ability to conduct academic research and system development, mainly including independent review of domestic and international academic literature, independent thinking, and independent scientific experiments and system development under the guidance of supervisors. Ability to study, analyze and synthesize previous research results, as well as the ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Strong practical skills, including strong algorithm design and system development skills.

(4) Ability to communicate and cooperate

Ability to express their academic ideas and present their academic achievements clearly and accurately. The expression of academic ideas is mainly reflected in clear and accurate oral and written expressions in Chinese and English. The presentation of academic results is mainly reflected in the ability to write academic papers in Chinese and English, and to publish academic results in journals, conferences and other platforms, and to make academic reports in English. 3. Basic requirements of the dissertation

The master candidates should read the relevant domestic and foreign literature and write a literature reading report immediately after enrollment, and report it in the group discussion meeting regularly.
